How Are They So Successful? Durante Rentals

New York-based Durante Rentals, one of the country’s leading providers of construction equipment and tool rentals, announced the successful implementation of its new rental software, Point of Rental Elite, today.

Well-known as the tri-state area’s powerhouse in the construction equipment rental industry, Durante is quickly expanding their operations and the industry is taking notice. Founded in the middle of an economic malaise in 2009 by cousins John and Anthony Durante with business partner Chris Jones, the company has seen astounding success in just seven years.

From 2013-2015, Durante posted an impressive three-year sales growth of 228% and has been named one of Inc. 5000’s fastest growing private companies for four consecutive years. After opening three additional locations within the past eight months, Durante Rentals is expected to rank even higher in 2016.

“We always put our customers first,” said Durante Rentals President John Durante. “We strive to streamline our processes, provide innovative solutions and look to push the limits of the industry’s technology. To keep up with our rapid growth, we’ve found it essential to invest in our internal processes and constantly search for new areas we can improve upon. Point of Rental is a company that shares these values, leads the industry with intuitive software, and offers customized programming to fit our unique needs, which is why we chose to partner with them.”

“We are honored to partner with Durante Rentals,” said Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris. “They have valuable insight into the rental industry and are adding many new methods of doing business, while also upholding an amazing level of integrity and personalized customer service. With our customized Rental Elite platform, we are eager to help them develop new features and provide innovative solutions to support their tremendous growth.”

Having gone live on Point of Rental Elite in mid-July, Durante Rentals is excited for the opportunity to use a system that is robust enough to handle their growth while also providing customizable options, allowing them to run the business in a unique way.

Rental Elite is an enterprise resource planning solution (ERP) for larger rental companies. It offers a highly customizable platform with a comprehensive suite of features that is completely adaptable to most infrastructures. With its user-friendly navigation screens, enhanced reporting features and inventory control management solutions, it is designed to increase efficiency, save time and money and offer better communication to the customer.

“After years of research into different systems, we are confident in our choice of Point of Rental,” Durante Rentals’ CEO, Anthony Durante, said. “We really wanted a system that worked with the natural flow of our business and also allowed us the flexibility of customized features to support our further development. We have been very pleased with their whole team and we truly believe this system will allow us to go to the next level.”
