Point of Rental Named No. 70 In SMU Cox Dallas 100

Wayne Harris received Point of Rental's Dallas 100 award at SMU on Nov. 16.

Point of Rental Software was named no. 70 of the top privately owned companies across the Dallas/Fort Worth-area for 2017 at the Dallas 100 Awards on Thursday night.

“We’re honored to be recognized among some of the most innovative businesses operating in North Texas,” said Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris. “Our growth shows that we’re successfully serving our customers with great software and superior customer service, and that’s going to continue to fuel our growth moving forward.”

Being named a winner of the Dallas 100™ Awards highlights the incredible growth Point of Rental has gone through in the past three years. The company has expanded from a one-location, one-product team to a worldwide rental software company, with offices in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia, and four different software solutions.

Put on annually by the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at the SMU Cox School of Business, the Dallas 100 Awards honor the 100 fastest-growing privately held companies in the Dallas Metroplex area. Each year, the awards celebrate area entrepreneurs and the diversity, creativity and resolve it takes to create and sustain a successful business in today’s competitive environment. Point of Rental was selected for this year’s list in recognition of the company’s significant sales and revenue growth over the course of the last three years.
