Point of Rental Earns Sixth Consecutive RER Innovation Award

FORT WORTH — Rental Equipment Register announced their 2019 Innovative Product Award winners on Jan. 10, naming Point of Rental’s ONE App the Silver Award winner and Computer Software category winner.

Point of Rental ONE unifies the company’s app offerings and provides a fully-connected mobile interface for its users. It was built from the ground up, with offline support in mind, so your team will have access to data even in areas without reception.

The app launched with Mobile Workforce, which allows users to collect delivery signatures, take condition photos, clock in and out with geo-stamped locations, and send delivery or pickup notifications.

In addition to combining features that are already in current Point of Rental mobile solutions, The ONE app features new in-app messaging functionality. Companies can instantly connect employees throughout their business to one another – no exchange of phone numbers or calling the front counter necessary. It also features a time clock, so employees can clock in or out without returning to the office or visiting the counter – locations will be geotagged for accountability purposes.

Point of Rental ONE will be a single point of sign-on for users at businesses with several mobile functions, like UnlockIt, the company’s automatic locker app. Point of Rental will continue to incorporate more mobile features into ONE, making it the must-have app for rental businesses of the future, regardless of the Point of Rental product they use.
