UK branch employees gathered locally to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Syrinx’s acquisition by Point of Rental Software on Thursday, July 13. The awards ceremony celebrated the achievements of prior Syrinx employees who made the transition and of new hires added since.
“When we had the opportunity to acquire Syrinx, we knew that they were well-known for not only having great software, but for having knowledgeable people providing great service,” said Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris. “We’re proud to continue that legacy as we celebrate the growth of the Point of Rental family.”
The assembled employees applauded as their colleagues accepted awards, bonded through karaoke, and modeled the 2017 Point of Rental t-shirts as Harris and the UK team honoured their first year as Point of Rental employees.
The 2016 Syrinx acquisition brought Point of Rental’s cloud-based software (Rental Essentials) and ERP solution (Rental Elite) to the European market alongside Syrinx hire software, adding more options for hire businesses of all sizes and industries. It also brought the company’s flagship product, Rental Expert, across the Atlantic, where it was a finalist for Event Industry Product of the Year in the 2017 HAE awards.
