On Friday, September 12, 2014, A Tool Shed Equipment Rentals wrote their one millionth rental contract using Enterprise rental management software by Point-of-Rental® Systems. A tool and equipment rental company established in 1945, A Tool Shed is a family-owned business with six locations throughout northern California.
In anticipation of the event, Point-of-Rental created a customized contract which read: “CONGRATULATIONS! You are our ONE MILLIONTH customer.” The lucky customer signing the contract received a free one-day rental from A Tool Shed.
“The customer didn’t believe it,” said Alfredo Rameriz who is the branch manager and employee that wrote the one millionth contract. “The customer called his wife who came down to the store to take pictures because she also couldn’t believe her husband was our one millionth customer and would be receiving a free rental.”
To help celebrate the milestone, Point-of-Rental had pizzas delivered to each of the stores, along with a cake which A Tool Shed CEO, Robert Pedersen, delivered to the store that wrote the contract.
“We wanted to recognize this accomplishment and show that we appreciate their hard work,” Point-of- Rental CEO Wayne Harris said of A Tool Shed, their customer since 2004. “We think of our customers as partners; we design our software to increase their success, and their success increases ours.”
