FORT WORTH — After what amounted to a lost year for the events industry in 2020, the InTents Reader’s Choice Awards are back, and Point of Rental is back as the industry’s Best Rental Software. The honor marks the company’s fourth in the four years of polling.
“We’re fortunate to have so many people invested in the future of our software,” said Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris. “From the developers to the team organizing requests to the people using the software in their stores, thousands of people work to ensure Point of Rental serves event rental businesses as well as possible.”
Point of Rental users provide feedback via the company’s feedback management system, uInnovate, which drives the company’s software solutions as technology and requirements change. In 2021, more than 300 user-based suggestions were implemented into the software’s functionality.
The award is icing on the cake celebrating Point of Rental’s celebration of its 40th anniversary in 2022. First built in 1982 to serve a single general rental store, the company has grown to serve more than 5,000 businesses worldwide across several verticals.
