Point-of-Rental Software Receives Credit Card Compliance Certification

Point-of-Rental™ Systems is pleased to announce that its Enterprise 2010 Rental Management Software passed PA DSS certification testing with flying colors. PA DSS (Payment Application Data Security Standard) is the new requirement that software vendors must uphold as part of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

Developed by PCI Security Standards Council to help protect customers from having their credit card information stolen, PCI compliance is now required of all merchants which handle payment card transactions. One of the requirements is that merchants must use rental management software that is PA DSS certified. In addition, they must adhere to the standards found at the PCI Security Standards website.

Obtaining PCI compliance is not always easy, but it is required, and Point-of-Rental is proud to partner with our customers in achieving PCI secure status. For more information about this credit card compliance certification and other systems features, please call us at 800-944-7368.
