More than 200 rental owners, managers, counter people, accountants, and other rental experts from as far away as New Zealand converged in Fort Worth early in November for three days of learning and camaraderie at Point of Rental’s International Conference.
The three-day event included industry-specific training seminars, one-on-one problem solving, and hands-on demonstrations of apps, including the RER- and ALH-award-winning Inspection App. Even more valuable to attendees, however, were the networking opportunities and evening events, which brought together people from around the world to discuss rental.
“The rental industry is full of extremely friendly and helpful people,’” said Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris. “One of the most rewarding parts of the conference has been seeing that exchange of ideas and fostering that collaborative culture across the globe.”
“I attend the International Conference to get the opportunity to meet with other rental professionals who are using the software, to see how they’re using Point of Rental, what we could do differently, and how we could collectively run our businesses more efficiently,” said Nazli Rahman of Bravo Party Rentals.
Jonas Hutchison from Party Reflections added: “POR’s International Conference to me, is community. To bring in a couple hundred users from different stores, meet people I would never have met otherwise, doing the same business, that was a great opportunity.”
