Point of Rental Promotes James Morley to Chief Product Officer to Lead Next Phase of Innovation
Fort Worth, Texas — Point of Rental Software today announced the promotion of James Morley to chief product officer (CPO), recognizing his leadership in transforming the company’s product organization and positioning him to guide the next phase of innovation across Point of Rental’s global rental software portfolio.
As CPO, Morley will lead the company’s global product strategy, overseeing the vision, direction, and evolution of its software platforms. His focus will include accelerating innovation in artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, automation, and the continued modernization and integration of Point of Rental’s product ecosystem.

Since joining Point of Rental in 2022, Morley has built and developed a global product management organization of more than 25 professionals, establishing a more strategic, customer-driven approach to product development. Under his leadership, the organization has strengthened the connection between customer needs, market opportunities, and engineering execution while creating a more unified product direction across the company’s platforms.
Morley’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Point of Rental. Following its recently announced strategic investment from Accel-KKR, the company is accelerating its evolution beyond traditional rental management software toward a broader vision of rental performance systems, connecting operational workflows, intelligent decision-making, and automated execution to help rental businesses operate more efficiently and profitably.
Central to that vision is the continued development of Point of Rental’s Rental Intelligence Suite, which brings together artificial intelligence, actionable analytics, and intelligent automation. Before joining Point of Rental, Morley spent more than 13 years in the energy software industry. He served as vice president of product management and customer success at Quorum Software and previously as chief operating officer of WellEz, which Quorum acquired in 2017. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
