Hire Expert, Leader Ben Sinclair Joins Point of Rental

Ben Sinclair has joined Point of Rental’s Melbourne team as the company’s Customer Success Manager for the Asia/Pacific region. In his new role, he’ll be responsible for ensuring the success of the company’s new and existing customers.

Sinclair, who has been a Non-Executive Director with Point of Rental since 2017, was most recently the Business Development Manager with AIM Hire. He’s officially joining Point of Rental after being involved in the company’s growth throughout Australia.

“Ben is a great example of what a Pointer is,” said Wayne Harris, Point of Rental’s CEO. “He’s very knowledgeable about hire processes, he pursues innovative solutions, and he cares about the people and businesses in this industry.”

“I’ve always been interested in the process of equipment hire and the technology behind it,” said Sinclair. “I’m excited to join Point of Rental, a company that shares that passion, and to help hire businesses throughout the Pacific region become more efficient and flexible.”

A third-generation hire expert, Sinclair started his professional career in construction, moved into construction management, then transitioned into the equipment hire industry in 2012. He’s “probably” used every piece of equipment available in a local hire store, which served him well as the Victorian President of HRIA for the last two years.
