The contest is open to all Point of Rental customers and winners will be announced at the 2017 International Conference*. Here’s how you do it:

You get to choose what you’d like to base your entry on. It can be a single event where you overcame a lot of obstacles to pull it off, or it can be a feature you’ve implemented in the past year and used it to revolutionize processes. To make it easier for you, we’re going to give a short sample answer for each question:

What problem did you have?

We were managing our deliveries using a regular maps application and trying to figure out the most efficient route by looking at the map. This was taking a lot of time and we weren’t as efficient as we needed to be.

How did you use Point of Rental software to help you solve it?

We added Point of Rental’s Dispatch Center and Mobile Workforce applications to our system and upon implementation, it helped plan routes efficiently and based on truck loads, enabling us to not only make trips as quick as possible, but ensuring we’re not overpacking trucks or wasting a trip. Drivers are able to connect information on pickups and deliveries in real time, which keeps our dispatcher on top of things without having to be connected to the phone.

How has that solution impacted your business?

Our implementation of Dispatch Center and Mobile Workforce has cut our fuel costs by ________ and saved us _______ hours on the road in a truck. We’ve been able to more accurately estimate arrival times, keeping customers happy, and we’ve eliminated jobs that had previously slipped through the cracks literally in paper shuffles. As we grow with the software, we find more features it has that, when implemented, have continued to save us more time and money.
