READING — For years, Point of Rental has touted with confidence that they have more hire experience than any other hire software company. Now they’re putting it to work in ways beyond software development, adding business consulting to their offerings in the European and African markets.
“Our mission is to empower companies and individuals to reach their full potential,” said Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris. “Consulting allows us to go beyond our software to help businesses get an outside set of expert eyes on their operations. And because we’re invested in their success, we’re there to work with them after the visit to ensure they get where they want to be.”
Currently, there are two dedicated business consultants working for Point of Rental’s U.K. team, James Walton and Alex Newman.
James worked in the hire industry for 21 years prior to joining Point of Rental, having started as an engineer and having worked in accounts administration, as a hire controller and depot manager, and ultimately as a senior manager.
Alex started in the industry as a technician in 1983 and has managed branches, IT systems, projects, businesses and systems, and been a general manager as well. Since 2019, he’s been working with new Point of Rental users to implement the software into their businesses.
