Alexis Brumm, Rental Magazine

Alexis Brumm had covered the construction industry for the better part of a decade before becoming the editor of Rental magazine just as a pandemic was really making its presence felt in the industry.

She’s used to working remotely, though. She talked about growing up wanting to be on ESPN, how she got into construction and then rental working from her home in Detroit, and more. We also discussed her fast-food all-stars, where she went off the board for a main course.

And by the end of the podcast, we discovered time travel.

We also discussed how, covering an industry, you feel like you’re an insider and an outsider at the same time. She’d like to visit rental stores and get a feel for what you’re going through each day – if you’d like to have a visitor for a day or more, you can visit her LinkedIn or email us and we’ll pass your contact information along!
