Company Earns Supplier, Product of the Year Honours
MELBOURNE — During HIRE25’s evening awards show in Melbourne, Point of Rental’s Australian team found themselves onstage – twice.
First, they accepted honours for Best New Product: Record360, acquired in 2024, was introduced to the APAC region last year. The equipment inspection app has made an immediate impact for businesses in the region, reducing damage disputes by 60 percent and improving documentation.
Later in the evening, they found themselves returning to the stage again to celebrate Supplier of the Year honours. It was the second time the company has earned the award, having last won in 2022.
“Our customers inspire us to keep raising the bar at Point of Rental,” said APAC Managing Director Dave Cameron. “Their trust and partnership drive our team to keep finding solutions and delivering results. We’re very appreciative of the honour and we look forward to getting back to work.”
It was a big night for Point of Rental customers as well, both in company and individual honours. RPM Hire were named Hire Company of the Year and earned the Excellence Award for People & Culture. Green Power Solutions were named Hire Company of the Year for companies with less than $10M hire revenue. Women in Hire Award winner Peta Twyman and Young Professional of the Year Tom Lynch also use Point of Rental.
