Matt Gaffin Named Point of Rental’s Director of Development

FORT WORTH, Texas — After starting with the company as a developer eight years ago, Matt Gaffin has now been named as the company’s new Director of Development.

“Mobile development isn’t simply for mobile devices – those devices need to work with traditional desktops in ways that are familiar to users on both ends,” said Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris. “Matt’s knowledge of both sides of our software and leadership abilities make him a great fit for this role.”

Matt was one of the original members of Point of Rental’s Essentials team, helping build what was then called Point of Rental Cloud. In 2019, he was named the leader of the company’s mobile development team, helping develop a framework that would unite the company’s products in one mobile platform. As Director of Development, he’ll continue that work not only in the mobile realm, but across all of Point of Rental’s cloud-accessed tools.

Point of Rental is committed to growing Pointers’ leadership skills, empowering them to take on directorships and other leadership roles. If you’re interested in starting your journey as a Pointer, apply at pointofrental.com/careers.
