We love hearing about our customers achieving great things in the rental industry. We\u2019re even more excited to hear that our software helped them on the way. With that in mind, we invite you to enter our 2017 International Innovation Award competition!<\/p>\n

The contest is open to all Point of Rental customers and winners will be announced at the 2017 International Conference<\/a>*. Winners will start their International Conference trip with a pair of tickets to the Nov. 5 game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys (or receive a $500 Visa gift card)! We\u2019ll also write a press release detailing your innovation and telling the world what fantastic, innovative folks you are.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how you do it:<\/p>\n

  2. Enter your contact information and what product you\u2019re using<\/li>\n
  3. Tell us about a time you solved a problem in your business with the help of Point of Rental!<\/li>\n
  4. Make sure you enter before Oct. 6, 2017.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You get to choose what you\u2019d like to base your entry on. It can be a single event where you overcame a lot of obstacles to pull it off, or it can be a feature you\u2019ve implemented in the past year and used it to revolutionize processes. To make it easier for you, we\u2019re going to give a short sample answer for each question:<\/p>\n

    What problem did you have?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    We were managing our deliveries using a regular maps application and trying to figure out the most efficient route by looking at the map. This was taking a lot of time and we weren\u2019t as efficient as we needed to be. <\/em><\/p>\n

    How did you use Point of Rental software to help you solve it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    We added Point of Rental\u2019s Dispatch Center and Mobile Workforce applications to our system and upon implementation, it helped plan routes efficiently and based on truck loads, enabling us to not only make trips as quick as possible, but ensuring we\u2019re not overpacking trucks or wasting a trip. Drivers are able to connect information on pickups and deliveries in real time, which keeps our dispatcher on top of things without having to be connected to the phone. <\/em><\/p>\n

    How has that solution impacted your business?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our implementation of Dispatch Center and Mobile Workforce has cut our fuel costs by ________ and saved us _______ hours on the road in a truck. We\u2019ve been able to more accurately estimate arrival times, keeping customers happy, and we\u2019ve eliminated jobs that had previously slipped through the cracks literally in paper shuffles. As we grow with the software, we find more features it has that, when implemented, have continued to save us more time and money. <\/em><\/p>\n
