Fort Worth, Texas<\/strong> \u2014 David Austin is bringing more than 20 years of marketing, sales, and peer-to-peer rental expertise to Point of Rental\u2019s team.<\/p>\n

\u201cDavid has shown throughout his career that he\u2019s able to quickly identify customer and organizational needs and put people in the right places to succeed,\u201d said Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris. \u201cAs we continue to grow, the ability to analyze data while understanding our customers becomes more and more important.\u201d<\/p>\n

Austin will play a critical role in uniting Point of Rental\u2019s teams and processes toward successful outcomes for customers and the company as a whole.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited to get back into the rental industry and to work with the Point of Rental team,\u201d said Austin. \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to helping put our teams and our software in a position where they can help the most people possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Austin started his career as a product manager, selling and marketing information products for Randall-Reilly. His ability to analyze data eventually led him to become the company\u2019s VP of Data Production, overseeing research, business planning, database development, and quality assurance for flagship SaaS products.<\/p>\n

From there, he\u2019s continued to orchestrate product developments and business operations in leadership roles for several different companies. He managed sales operations and optimized sales and marketing processes for Equify. He helped organize the peer-to-peer construction rental company Never Idle and helped define the company\u2019s rental processes. Most recently, he was a senior product manager with ECI Software Solutions, where he orchestrated products serving more than 10,000 users.<\/p>\n
