Flannery Plant Hire<\/a> has been around since 1972, starting by hiring out a single excavator. In 2025, they have more than 5200 units and 2200 operators supporting clients throughout the British Isles.<\/p>\n

As you can imagine, sustaining that level of operations requires everyone to be on the same page. Michael Zubek and the company\u2019s data and IT team are in charge of helping make sure that happens.<\/p>\n

Challenge<\/h3>\n

Syrinx provides access to the information needed to manage contracts, track fleet activity, and keep things moving. It\u2019s easy to use, which ensures that everyone within the company is entering data accurately. Michael\u2019s role is to take that data and turn it into something useful\u2014for the company and for its customers.<\/p>\n

Solution<\/h3>\n

So they built custom reporting tools. Instead of spreadsheets, Michael and team used their Point of Rental data to build visual, interactive tools that staff could access from the service desk.<\/p>\n

Suddenly, they could easily track revenue, spot seasonal shifts, and compare performance over time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can give them reminders, we can color code it,\u201d Michael explains. That means no more digging through files or working with outdated info. Syrinx<\/a> makes it simple to see what\u2019s happening, where, and when.<\/p>\n

Flannery Plant also sync their Syrinx data with data from their telematics provider to keep tabs on how much each machine is being used on a weekly basis (at minimum). This helps Flannery Plant manage even on-hire equipment against their maintenance intervals, evaluate the need for additional usage billing, etc.<\/p>\n

Results<\/h3>\n

Syrinx doesn\u2019t just give the Flannery Plant Hire team more data. It gives them the right data, in the right format, at the right time. From there, Michael and his team continue to build easy-to-read, actionable reports to meet their company\u2019s unique needs.<\/p>\n
