Last week brought some big news from the ARA: 2020\u2019s Rental <\/span>Hall of Fame inductees<\/span><\/a> were announced, along with volunteer recognition awards.<\/span><\/p>\n

The honors confirm what we at Point of Rental have long believed: Our customers are passionate industry leaders who work tirelessly to improve the lives of those around them. In fact, both of this year\u2019s Rental Hall of Fame inductees are also members of the Point of Rental family!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thomas Fouts<\/span><\/a> of Bledsoe Rentals in Lees Summit, Mo., has been a part of the rental industry since 1970. He was an officer on the ARA board for five years and has served on more than 20 local and national committees and boards. He helped develop the \u201cMaking it Work\u201d video training series, has worked for the ARA\u2019s National Legislative Caucus, and presented \u201cOperation ID,\u201d which helps local and state ARA associations identify and develop future industry leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n

Charles Neffle<\/span><\/a> of All Occasions Rental in Cincinnati started working with the ARA in 1995 and hasn\u2019t stopped since. He\u2019s served on every possible committee within the ARA, even serving as the association president in 2001-2002. During his time on the board, he was a key part of the development of the Certified Event Rental Professional program, assisting in the selection of the ARA\u2019s third CEO, and helped develop a strategic plan for the association.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Other Point of Rental users will also be honored:<\/span><\/p>\n

Kyle Tegner<\/span><\/a> of Special Occasions in Corvallis, Ore., was named the ARA\u2019s <\/span>Rising Star Award <\/b>winner – in addition to owning a growing business, he\u2019s the president of the ARA of Oregon, along with being a member of the ARA\u2019s Party & Event Shared Interest Group and the Young Professionals Network.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Industry Ambassador Award<\/b> is going to <\/span>Peggy DeFrancisco<\/span><\/a>, VP at Taylor True Value Rental in Inverness, Fla. She\u2019s served on the ARA of Florida board, including a term as president. She also was ARA Region Three director and has served on the ARAPAC council.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, February will see 10 people recognized as having earned Leadership Impact Awards<\/a> – including even more members of the Point of Rental family (asterisked).<\/p>\n

\nRegion Two: Nathan McCutcheon, McCutcheon Enterprises, Houston, Pa.
\nRegion Three: Bryan Bolt, TopTec Event Tents, Moore, S.C.
\nRegion Four: Bryce Puckett, Kirby-Smith Machinery, Fort Worth, Texas
\nRegion Five: Alex Bauman, In-A-Pinch? Rent It!, Martinsville, Ind.
\nRegion Six: Ashley Pouche, Platte Rental & Supply, Parkville, Mo.*
\nRegion Seven: Andrew Heesacker, Arvada Rent-Alls, Arvada, Colo.
\nRegion Eight: Kyle Tegner, CERP, Special Occasions, Corvallis, Ore.*
