Today, US-based Point of Rental, Inc.<\/a>, announced<\/a> the acquisition of UK-based Syrinx by Higher Concept Software<\/a>, merging two industry leaders in rental management software. Point of Rental currently serves over 2700 customer locations in more than 33 countries, but with the addition of Syrinx\u2019s 2000 customers in more than 10 countries, this merger makes Point of Rental one of the largest rental software providers in the world.<\/p>\n

Wayne Harris, President and CEO of Point of Rental, said, \u201cWe are proud to bring together two amazing companies and are excited about expanding our presence in the hire association of Europe. We look forward to offering the combined talents, products and service and believe it will greatly benefit our customers and the industry both now and in the decades to come.\u201d<\/p>\n

The UK offices will continue to operate under Syrinx\u2019s current staff with managing director, Mark Goodrum, leading the team in Reading. Currently, both companies have offices in Australia that will continue to serve and support that market. Harris noted that under the new name of Point of Rental Software, Syrinx staff will continue to provide the superior support and customer service for which they have become known over the past twenty years.<\/p>\n

The merger will bring Point of Rental\u2019s cloud-based software and ERP solution to the European market alongside Syrinx, adding more software options for businesses of all sizes and industries.
