The RER\u00a0100 list for 2016<\/a> is out and, according to the numbers, it was a great year to be a Point of Rental customer (although we hope that\u2019s always the case). Eleven companies on the list use our software, and each one of them rose in their ranking from where they were in 2015.<\/p>\n

Without further ado, here are the Point of Rental customers that earned their way onto the list:<\/p>\n

39. Art’s Rental Equipment<\/a> \u2013 Art’s\u00a0serves Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana and has been doing it for 50 years. They moved up from No. 44 on the list in 2015.<\/p>\n

47.\u00a0Star Rentals<\/a> \u2013 Up from No. 51 last year, they\u2019ve moved to a more spacious HQ<\/a> in Kent, Wash., enabling them to improve efficiency and reduce commutes for staff. They\u2019ve diversified their customer base and continue to expand.<\/p>\n

49. Location D\u2019Outils Simplex<\/a> \u2013 The Quebec-based aerial rental specialists signed up with Rental Elite<\/a> in 2017 as they celebrate their 110th<\/sup> anniversary by moving up six spaces on the list from No. 55.<\/p>\n

55. Hugg & Hall Equipment \u2013 RPM Services & Rentals, which Hugg & Hall acquired<\/a> in 2016, runs their strong commercial and construction rental business with Rental Expert.<\/p>\n

63. Rental Equipment Investment Corp. \u2013 Columbia River Machinery, a 2017 acquisition<\/a> for REIC, uses Rental Expert for their seven locations in the Pacific Northwest.<\/p>\n

74.\u00a0Diamond Rental<\/a> \u2013 Utah\u2019s leading general rental company had a 22.7 percent rental volume surge in 2016, helping move them up 15 spots from No. 89 in 2015.<\/p>\n

76.\u00a0PDQ Rentals<\/a> \u2013 PDQ Rentals\u2019 business picked up so much in 2016 they\u2019re opening a third branch. Their rental volume grew 10.7 percent as they jumped 10 spots in the rankings from No. 86.<\/p>\n

90.\u00a0Champion Rentals<\/a> \u2013 Champion Rentals\u2019 James Horsley has been running businesses in rental for 35 years, and this year Champion is up six spots from last year\u2019s No. 96.<\/p>\n

97.\u00a0Birch Equipment Rentals & Sales<\/a> \u2013 Another Pacific Northwest powerhouse, Birch provides construction and industrial equipment rental to Washington and Alaska. They moved up a spot from No. 98.<\/p>\n

100.\u00a0Aaction Rents<\/a> \u2013 No, that\u2019s not a misspelling \u2013 Aaction Rents is a family-owned California equipment rental company that\u2019s so good they\u2019ve earned two A\u2019s at the beginning of their name. They moved up from No. 106.<\/p>\n

RER didn\u2019t stop their listing at No. 100, though. Our friends at A Tool Shed<\/a> (No. 102, up from No. 107 in 2015) and Excavator Rental Services<\/a> (No. 103; they were unlisted in 2015) also made the list.<\/p>\n
