LONDON \u2014 On Saturday at Grosvenor House in London, Point of Rental Software took home the company\u2019s first HAE Supplier of the Year award.<\/p>\n
Organised by Hire Association Europe and Event Hire Association (HAE EHA), the awards represent the best in the industry for plant, tool, hire and event equipment. Independently judged, the awards are the pinnacle of the year for the winners and also those highly commended, with both companies and individuals receiving recognition for their outstanding contribution to the hire industry.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve put in a lot of work to figure out a new, hybrid workplace, managing our office\u2019s growth, and how we can best serve our customers and the industry as a whole,\u201d said Point of Rental\u2019s EMEA Managing Director Mark Goodrum. \u201cWhile happy customers and staff are the ultimate measure of success, the recognition by HAE EHA is incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n
The team behind Syrinx had previously won Supplier of the Year honours in 2014 as Higher Concept Software.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen we brought the Higher Concept team into Point of Rental, we wanted to maintain their level of excellence while integrating the people and the software with our own culture,\u201d said the company\u2019s CEO, Wayne Harris. \u201cIt\u2019s exciting to see that people outside the company feel that we\u2019re achieving those goals.\u201d<\/p>\n
Point of Rental user Steven Jones from MHM Group had even more to celebrate on the evening. He earned two awards, for Workshop Manager of the Year and Hire Achiever of the Year.<\/p>\n
