FORT WORTH \u2014 Throughout April and worldwide, Point of Rental\u2019s team and their customers celebrated 40 years of producing rental software and providing support.<\/p>\n
Each regional office set fundraising goals for employees and customers to try to match, with the company matching donations. More than 400 pairs of donated shoes were given to Shoes4Souls<\/a> (South Africa) and Soles4Souls<\/a> (U.S & Canada), while Shoe Aid<\/a> (U.K.) received more than \u00a32000. The Australian team raised more than $400 for Big Group Hug,<\/a> a charity that provides necessities for young mothers. Beyond the company\u2019s regular volunteering, Pointers also went out and served in local community building projects, like Habitat for Humanity<\/a> and Collingwood Children\u2019s Farm. <\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThe measure of a life well-lived is seen in what you give, not what you get,\u201d said Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris. \u201cWe got into this business 40 years ago to help rental business owners have more time to spend with their families, to do more with limited resources. So it makes sense that we\u2019d celebrate this last month by serving.
