Started in 1999, Northwood Rentals is a large general rental store. Their inventory ranges from full-size backhoes to party items and costumes. Point-of-Rental\u2122 Systems, a division of Overland Rentals, Inc., started in 1982 as a general rental store. In 1984 the company introduced its rental management software at the ARA show in Dallas, TX. In 1996 the company opened a second rental store. In 2001 the company introduced its flagship Enterprise software product that runs on the Microsoft\u00ae Windows Server operating system using Microsoft\u00ae database products. Systems have been installed in 46 states, Canada, the Caribbean and South Africa.
